I am delighted to find myself face to face with my favorite interurban – the Pacific Electric Wood Interurban “Ten” coach #1032. This is the same photo from Cars of the Pacific Electric, Vol. II, Interurban & Deluxe Cars, Special 36.
Nice closeup.
I like to refer to “Ten” coach #1032, above, as a “giant Suydam” because Ed Suydam (founder and operator of E. Suydam & Company) chose the roster number “1032” for his imported HO scale brass “Ten” model years ago. 🙂
