Mack Sennett-produced comedy for Biograph featuring Mabel Normand and filmed in Rubio Canyon on April 19, 1912, and later released August 7, 1912.

The clip features footage of the “Rubio” incline car in operation at Mount Lowe, plus footage at the Alpine Tavern.

    The Mount Lowe incline looks like a slow roller coaster that goes up and down on a straight track. It’s not seen much in this clip.

    I wonder why I cannot find anything significant on the Pacific Electric “Mount Lowe” Interurban 450-class cars. No info on the history of the cars (and photos of them) can be found anywhere on the internet.
