An observation, that PE 1209 is eastbound on the outbound tracks, pointed towards Baldwin Park and points east. The trackage crossing in the background is the SP’s Sunset Route, the location of a devastating crossing in the early nineteen hundreds (sometime just after the LA-IU built through here). The site is now obliterated by the grade separation of Ramona Boulevard.
