A retouched-photographed-turned-picture-postcard by an unknown printer depicts turn-of-the-century Los Angeles’ Main Street, identified by the “Belasco Theater” signage. The Belasco Brothers opened their 1200-seat theater at 337 South Main Street in 1904.The dual-gauge trackage in this image suggests the streetcars are those of the Los Angeles Railway, possibly the 7 or 8 Lines.
