Actual date is February 1939. The Boosters ran a special from Los Angeles to Canoga Park, then past Raymer to San Fernando, to Van Nuys for lunch, and then back to Los Angeles. The tower protected the crossing of the SP Coast Main, and the crossing was removed in 1941. Tower removed sometime afterwards, with the interlocker sent to another tower in 1943 (Dominguez Tower ?)
