    I’m not aware of any place called “Kester”, but I do live near Kester St. in Van Nuys. Is this photo in Van Nuys near Kester St.?

    Ok….I see this was at Chandler/Ethel near Coldwater. Fascinating photo.

    This is near where todays busway diverges from Chandler Blvd. and follows the former SP Burbank Branch. Long after the Red Cars disappeared from here, Orange Empire ran a fantrip to Ojai via this route in 1968, probably the last rail passenger move through this location.
