In the background, a two-car train of 600s working the Watts Local departs Sierra Vista Station and enters the four-track main towards LA.
I am wondering what that star displayed in the middle of 1043’s destination sign mean.
The star meant that “Pasadena Via Short Line” wasn’t listed in the sign roller on that car, so the motorman ran it to the end.
