Los Angeles Transit Lines (ex-Los Angeles Railway) V Line streetcar no. 616 negotiates heavy traffic. The V Line served Nevin to East Hollywood; the car’s message board reads “V / Slauson & Santa Fe.”

This car is Southbound on Santa Fe Ave just South of Leonis Ave.
The Line ran from the City of Vernon to Vermont Ave and City College.
Npthing to do with Niven.
So, the northbound car passing by it would just be starting it’s run from the Slauson terminus on the route up to City College just below Santa Monica Blvd.. Last stop, Campus Theater. Wonder what’s showing.
