    The year would be 1947-1948. Roofs of cars are in their original LA Transit Lines white and by the end of the year would have received the tan color to ease maintenance concerns.

    Now I want to use “Phone GLadstone 2010” as the title for a noir-era thriller. How ’bout a Communist front vacuum shop and lots of jumping on and off streetcars on two different lines! Might even be able to work in that Phil King Motors angle and maybe a murder up by that dental balcony area, ooooh.
