The last LA streetcar had gone to Vernon Yard when this picture was taken. Note the City had paved over the rails before the Trolley Wire had been removed.
never in history have the car tracks been covered over before the overhead was removed. But the LAMTA (Many Trolley Abandonments) made sure that the PCCs would never return.
