Los Angeles Transit Lines (ex-Los Angeles Railway) 5 Line car no. 1402 stops for passengers at 54th Street while traveling southbound on Crenshaw Blvd. in this December 15, 1954, image. Amazingly, the billboard locations remain unchanged in the contemporary view.
