This vintage shot captures turn of the century Pasadena at its finest. Pacific Electric streetcar no. 347 pauses for passengers on a busy Pasadena street. The destination sign reads “Via Wentworth.”

  1. Wentworth was The Hotel on Oak Knoll, later The Huntington Hotel after Col. Wentworth went bankrupt as it was purchased by H. Huntington.

  2. Pete De Beers should know. If you look closely at the photo you’ll see Pete as a small boy!
