This looks to be somewhere on Glendale Blvd at or near Glenhurst. The car is headed toward Los Angels so the “Subway Terminal” destination is correct. Perhaps their was service that only went as far as north as Edendale Atwater and returned southbound for LA, although I’m not aware of any wye tracks in that area where the car could have turned around.

    Steve:

Being a double ended car turning was not needed.

Would seem to be implying “via Edendale and Atwater”, good no matter which end point the car is running toward. No need for dash sign on car ends. Helpful to those looking to alight at intermediate points, i.e. tourists.
