I do NOT believe that the contemporary view of Avenue 35 is correct.

This photo seems to be just south of Avenue 34, looking north. The drug store in the brick building to the left of the photo is still there but is now El Mexicano Video Rental and Mini Market. The white building in the distance to the right of the photo with the large arched doorway is still there and is on the North West corner of Eagle Rock Blvd and Avenue 35, the building seems to be unused due to the fact that there is no signage on it.
