It’s Monday, December 29, 1952, the day after rail service ended, and the San Fernando Chamber of Commerce has chartered Pacific Electric car no. 5146 for “the official last run.” Note the perfect condition of 5146; it will be at Terminal Island scrap yard in just a few years.
