Pacific Electric PCC streamline car no. 5018 poses in Glendale, possibly at the northern terminus, before heading back south to the Subway Terminal Building.

Pacific Electric PCC streamline car no. 5000 is custom-decorated to promote enlistment in the Navy’s flying program (likely during the 1942-1945 timeframe). An unidentified PE interurban rests idle in the background. The car’s destination board reads “Subway Terminal.” The location is possibly adjacent to the Los Angeles River.

A pair of Pacific Electric streamline PCC cars (headed by no. 5001) cross the picturesque Fletcher Drive bridge on the Glendale-Burbank line. This northbound train is passing the famous Currie’s Ice Cream Parlor which was just below, at Riverside Drive.
