No hard hats or safety shoes on the workers, and a machine that looks like an OSHA inspector’s worst nightmare. I remember seeing this contraption when they were pulling out the rails that ran by the playground of Monroe School, where I was in 6th Grade. The machine had these large springs that twanged like the devil’s screen door springs.
