When I was in grade school, we used to take the trolley from the end of the line on York Blvd to school. I lived two streets up from the blvd on the same side as the old Woolworths store. We would walk down through the alley and then enter Woolworths through the back, come out onto York, turn right and walk to the end of the block where there was a news stand. The trolley line ended at that intersection in the middle of the street. We would wait for the motorman to raise the opposite pole, lower the other one and then move his controller to the new “front” of the car. After he was done, he would walk us out to the car from the curb. I actually started riding the trolley in Kindergarten and used it until about 3rd grade, if my memory serves me correctly. I was looking on Google Earth to try and see where my old house might have been. Our street was two streets over and it went up a hill parrelleling York Blvd.
Can anyone show me a map of this line so I could get some bearings??
Thanks in advance for any help.
    Sincerely,
    Rick Bell, 63
