Inbound car is approaching Culver Junction, running along Culver Blvd on the remnant of the Redondo via Playa del Rey line, which last saw revenue service in 1940. By the time of this probable postwar photo, the tracks had been cut just east of Lincoln Blvd.
Definitely post war–looks like a late-40s Studebaker in the background.
Looks to me like a “step-down” Hudson, which would put this picture at late 1947 (They debuted for the 1948 model year.) at the earliest.
Obviously a fantrip. Guys all packed in the front, and white flags denote a special movement.
