Talamantes was close to the intersection of Pico and Sepulveda, made famous by the song of that title that would be played on the first Sunday of the month on the Dr. Demento “live on KMET” radio show.
Electric railway service will return to this location in a few years, when Phase 2 of the Metro Expo line is finished.

Any pictures of structures at Talamantes (passenger or other) or other stops along Airline?

Just watched a Laurel and Hardy short on you tube called
”Berth marks”, Great views of the old Palms station at the
end. Also, The spur coming off to the left in the photo heads
up Sepulveda, and ends at the ”Soldier’s home” ( now V.A.)
    does it not?
