Talamantes was close to the intersection of Pico and Sepulveda, made famous by the song of that title that would be played on the first Sunday of the month on the Dr. Demento “live on KMET” radio show.
Electric railway service will return to this location in a few years, when Phase 2 of the Metro Expo line is finished.
