I think this is on Echo Park Avenue. Not Venice.

Yeah, I agree with Alan, it looks like Echo Park to me because of what seems to be hills in the background and the fact that the car is running on single track.

This was the Echo Park Avenue-Venice Short Line Franchise car after discontinuance of September 17, 1950. Car terminated at Marshall Manor where the line had been severed for storm drain construction.

Car is inbound on Echo Park Avenue just north of Sunset Blvd, Photo by Andy Payne on Oct. 30, 1950.

This is Echo Park. The building has a coffee house called Changos,
It’s where I get my coffee every morning.

Note that the car is one of the “Hollywood” cars that never became a 5050 (732-759). Most cars in this sub-class went to the Monrovia-Glendora Line in 1951. And the neighborhood looks familiar because in recent years I’ve gone to musical events at “The Echo” just north of Angelus Temple.
