I grew up riding the Red Cars from LGB to LA and then the Hollywood cars to my Grandmothers house on La Brea near Fountain. I’ll never forget rides with my dad between LGB and Pedro and passing National Metals and seeing the stacks of LATL and PE [can’t call them MCL]cars growing on a weekly basis. What a waste. . . .
