It’s January 30, 1958, and Metropolitan Coach Lines car no. 5021 is northbound on the four tracks section of the Long beach Line at Watts.

Late afternoon train leaving Watts Station.
PE #5120 would become LAMTA #1809 and lasted until March of 1960 at which time it was involved in a crossing accident and was pulled from service. Torrance Shops could have repaired the damage in one day, but with no body repair shop on the Southern District at that time, she was a goner.
