Two buildings served as the Watts passenger station over the decades and they’re both visible here. The original, seen in the background, was built of wood and was located south of what is now 103rd Street (known as Main Street in pre-annexation times). Sometime in the 1920’s the trolleys started making their stop north of 103rd at a new stucco structure that featured colonnaded waiting areas. The original then became a freight office and SP ticket outlet.
