This image was used in 1958 PE book, page 29. Caption: A three car commute train slows for Sierra Vista station on the four track section of the Northern District.

It was used again in Pacific Electric Railway Vol. 1, Northern Division on page 6. Caption: A three-car commuter train, on the Arcadia-Monrovia-Azusa-Glendora Line, rolls into Sierra Vista Station, en route for downtown Los Angeles. There weren’t anymore official stops until this train reached Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal at Aliso and Alameda Streets. During the morning and evening hours, train after train passed this point. – Charles D Savage.
