I am on the verge of acquiring this popular San Berdoo 1200 class steel interurban car in HO scale brass (by Suydam). I will be very glad when I finally have it in my possesion.
I now have the Suydam HO scale “San Berdoo” 1200 class steel interurban car in my possession. It looks great and it runs great. My Suydam collection is steadily growing. I wasn’t around during the grand ol’ days of the Pacific Electric Railway, so I never got to see these “classic” interurbans and trolleys as they trundled and clattered up and down a quiet residential street. That is why I love to collect Suydam PE equipment.
In the words of Ed Suydam – “An era has closed, to be remembered only from photographs, or for the lucky few, in operating scale models”.
