This picture was taken at the San Bernardiino Station on Third Street.
The taller building in the background is the Harris Company Department Store that stood on the corner of Third and E Streets.
This “San Berdoo” beauty is in my Suydam collection. Nice photo. Note the oval window at the rear of the car.
The oval is the “loo” of the “San Berdoo”.
The other clue to what is behind the oval is the pipe that angles out and then down! Needless to say, sanitation standards then weren’t what they are now, the track department just had to cope with “it”.
