They’re all volunteers from the Orange Empire Trolley museum salvaging parts to take to Perris.
Nowadays, we wear hard hats, visibility vests and safety shoes at OERM. One of the items gathered in this job was a “double slip switch” also known as a “puzzle switch”. It’s now in the Barn 2 lead track at the museum. At the far end of the lead is a switch salvaged from Morgan Yard in Long Beach. Sometimes we tell visitors that we’ve rebuilt the PE Long Beach Line, but had to shorten it to fit the space available.
