    This is where I became a trolley fan. I was born in City Terrace, As a 5 year old, my mother would leave me in the care of the man who operated the CITY TERRACE FOOD MARKET right there at the end of the line. I would sit on a small box next to the street light at the corner for hours on end. I remember the first day of the #2 trolley coach. I was a little to young to be upset over the loss of the streetcars. I thought the “trackless trollies” were kind of neat.
