Los Angeles Transit Lines O/B Line streetcar no. 429 (ex-LARy) crests a hilltop and heads down the incline on its residential route, probably in City Terrace just prior to the late-1948 institution of trolley buses.

I would guess that this is a B Line car near City Terrace. The B Line was replaced by Trolley Buses in Dec. 1948. Note the Trolley bus overhead wires are installed.
The Trolley is traveling south on Evergreen Ave in Boyle Heights.
notice also the PURFECT HIGH QUALITY of the rails that are just days away from being junk
