William G. Kerckhoff was a UCLA benefactor who bequeathed money upon his death to build Kerckhoff Hall, one of the more famed buildings on the UCLA campus. Learn more here and here.

Would this building have been removed to make way for Union Station?
The new Ganahl Lumber yard in Pasadena has a photo of their original facility north of what is now Old Pasadena–in the distance is the PE Pasadena carbarn, apparently still under construction at the time.
