Great photo! In studying the photo, it appears this was photographed looking east on W. Temple Street at the corner of Rosemont Ave. The low retaining wall on the left borders Rosemont Elementary School. Check it out by googling “Rosemont & Temple St, Los Angeles, CA”, clicking on the map, and selecting Street View.
