Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority PCC car no. 3022 rolls through heavy Los Angeles traffic in April of 1963 with a "Not In Service" destination sign. Just look at the condition of that street - unbelievable! The image may have been captured from the front window of another passing PCC; note the shadow on the street and the perspective right over the rail, and the reaction of the couple in the root beer-brown Chevy.

not alot has changed in that area,its not as nice as the pic,but many of the buildings and palms are still there
